A note from Mike Keneally:  This song was built around the two drum grooves (I'm a remedial drummer at best, but Mark inspired me to go for it.)  The melody was derived by assigning an ascending chromatic series of notes to the alphabet (a,b,c,d,e equals A Bb, B C Db, D, etc.) At the end of an octave, it starts over again at A natural, so several different letters can "trigger" the same note. There are two sentences in the melody.  The first four notes (AADG) correspond to the word "Mark."  Take it from there...
